One set of business facts, everywhere the assistants look

We define your business as one entity, correct conflicting facts and pursue credible references on the sources that AI answers use.

“Why does an AI answer have our old address and the wrong services?”

A question owners ask.

What your entity home needs to establish

Your entity home is the page that most clearly defines the business as one identifiable organization, and for many local businesses the about page performs that job. It states the approved business name, plain-language description, services, locations and service areas, and it can identify founders, clinicians, team members, credentials, memberships and relationships when those facts are current and verifiable. The canonical address, logo, contact details, social profiles and structured-data identifier all refer to the same organization rather than creating conflicting versions. Its value comes from specificity, which is why it is no place for inflated claims.

Why consistent facts matter

An answer with your old address or the wrong services has encountered conflicting versions of the business across your website, directory listings, biographies, association pages and older articles, and when sources disagree, a system decides which statement to use. Address conflicts make two offices appear to be one or one office appear to be two, inconsistent service claims associate the business with work it no longer offers, and different biographies obscure whether two references describe the same person.

Consistency does not force an assistant to accept a fact. It reduces ambiguity by repeating the same approved details across sources that have a legitimate reason to carry them. Corrections begin at the properties you control, and outside sources then require individual review, because each publisher has its own process and authority.

Which outside sources deserve attention

The AI Visibility scan identifies where attention belongs: the sources assistants cite, link, or repeatedly appear to use for the agreed customer questions. Relevant directories deserve correction when customers use them and they carry material business facts; professional associations can support credentials; local publications establish geographic context; industry resources connect the business to a specific service. A source does not become valuable because an assistant cited it once, so we review its relevance, editorial purpose, factual standards and audience before acting. The next action may be a listing correction, an association-profile update, a factual contribution or outreach tied to a useful resource, and publication remains the source owner’s decision.

What structured data can and cannot do

What it does

  • Labels what is already on the page
  • Says a name belongs to an organization, an address to a location, a page to a service
  • Helps systems reconcile the same entity across pages when the markup matches the visible content

What it does not do

  • Create authority
  • Make an unsupported credential true
  • Compensate for contradictory visible copy
  • Guarantee retrieval, a ranking, a mention or a citation
Structured data is a label layer, not a lever

How citation work is measured

We begin with a list of source gaps: missing priority profiles, conflicting facts, outdated references, unsupported claims, and sources repeatedly present in measured answers. Reporting then separates each stage: sources reviewed, corrections submitted, corrections accepted or still pending, outreach and relationship actions completed, new references earned, material factual changes in dated AI answers, and inclusion or omission across the agreed question set.

A submitted correction is not reported as a completed publisher change, and an outreach message is not reported as a citation, because another site controls whether and when it updates or publishes. Factual changes in AI answers are dated observations too: an improved answer may later vary because the assistant, source set or retrieval process changed.

What to fix first

Come with the project you already have in mind. Before we meet, we review your website, listings and other public-facing material. During the 30-minute session, you show us how the relevant part works today. We check whether the project addresses the real constraint and what it needs to connect to. You can hire us for one part.

Frequently asked questions

What is an entity home for a local business?
An entity home is the page that most clearly defines your business as one organization. It usually states the approved name, description, services, locations, relevant people, and identifiers that connect the website to genuine outside profiles.
Does an about page help AI assistants understand my company?
Yes, a clear about page can give assistants and search systems a stable source for approved business facts. It does not guarantee that a system will retrieve or trust the page, especially when stronger outside sources contain conflicting information.
Which websites do AI assistants cite for local recommendations?
They may cite business websites, directories, professional associations, local publications, editorial lists, and industry resources. The mix varies by assistant and question, which is why the dated scan records the sources visible in actual answers.
Will structured data make my business appear in ChatGPT?
No, structured data cannot force ChatGPT or another assistant to mention your business. It can clarify entities and relationships when the markup agrees with visible content, but retrieval and inclusion remain controlled by the external system.
How do you correct inaccurate business facts in AI answers?
We identify the likely source conflict, correct properties you control, and request changes from relevant outside publishers where possible. We then repeat the recorded question in a later scan, recognizing that no publisher or AI system is required to accept or immediately reflect the correction.
